Pool Table Dimensions
One of the most asked questions when
someone comes into our store is "What is the actual size of the table?"
"Is the table actually 4 x 8 or 4 1/2 x 9 or whatever?"
Pool table dimensions are
like a 2 x 4 at the lumber yard. It is a nominal size. Close to that
dimension but not exactly the size that you call it.
With the use of the charts below as
your guide you will be able to see just how the table will fit in your room.
Traditional Tables

The traditional style pool table has
leather pockets that are exposed on the ends of the rails. They usually
have a leather shield or a fringe to cover the leather web of the pocket.

These pool table dimensions are for
Brunswick pool tables. Since most manufactures copy Brunswick these
figures will be relatively consistent across manufacturers.
Please note if you are using these
dimensions to size a pool table cover and have a modern pool table you will need
to note whether your table has square or rounded corners.
